Another reminder and update that in just a few short days, The Virginians of Maryland will be holding our annual Business Dinner on Wednesday the Third of December at The Maryland Club in Baltimore at 6:30 PM. Our honored speaker for this event will be retired US Army Colonel James Hickey, a graduate of VMI and The Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies, and the leader of the task force that captured Saddam Hussein in a “spider hole” near his hometown of Tikrit, Iraq in Operation Red Dawn. Colonel Hickey’s talk will bring his expertise to bear on the current threat from ISIS.
