Gentlemen,
I think we will all agree that it was a marvelous evening last Thursday at The Maryland Club. Mr. Hume gave a very interesting presentation, and the question and answer session was very enlightening as well. Many thanks to Mr. Hume for taking time out of his busy schedule to be with us, Tom for making the connection and arrangements, and to everyone else who helped with the evening’s preparations.
Of course, this means it is time to look forward to the next exciting event for The Virginians of Maryland: our spring cocktail party. Please reserve the date of May 29th, the Thursday after Memorial Day weekend, when we will be gathering at the home of our gracious hosts, Dave and Holly Poulos, for our informal spring cocktail party. This will be from 6:00 to 9:00 at our hosts lovely home, which as those who attended the September cocktail party will recall, has a world-class outdoor pool, patio and grill area. The address is 15808 Yeoho Road Sparks, MD, 21152. We hope to see everyone there. We will be presenting our Virginians of Maryland rosettes to all members of over 10 years standing (approximately 32) and making announcements concerning our annual scholarship award.
